Vinno
A couple of new Scalextric Cars have landed and one in particular is going to make some Aussies happy. The Brock Richards Bathurst winning A9X Torana looks fantastic although missing some sponsorship decals. Some differences to the 4 door Torana Scalextric have been punching out over previous years and all for the positive. The other car of interest to me is the GT4 Mustang. This is also well done and looks like a winner. I will add some detail later in the week on both cars.
mus-28
My Torana arrived yesterday. Only issue is the angle of the front bumper, which looks to be a production issue as all of them seem to have it. Other than that Scalextric have done a great job, even down to the bridgestone labelling on the tyres.

A little wider than the 4 door and it helps.

Would really like to build one of these for our Oz Touring Car class, but at the moment the Falcoooooon XB and XC are untouchable. The 4 Door I built a few years ago would fall over on it's side at first sight of an approaching corner Quote Recovering Lapsed Slot Addict * Custodian of many used screws (mostly loose ) * Total kidder * Companion of other delusional slot addicts
Druc
Is the C4157 Scalextric Holden A9X Torana the same car, except slight difference in how the roof "05" is painted with the one in C1418 Scalextric Bathurst Legends Set. I have been looking at this set for $299 and C1308 Scalextric Set Raw Power - 6.76m at $255. Both have the same track and it is a cheap way to increase my current 4.84 mtr track giving me a possible 11 + meter track cheaper than buying the individual track pieces with two cars thrown into the deal. Keeping my collection of cars mainly Aussie has lots of appeal.
Smithy
Has anyone purchased the Scalextric C4219 TransAm Hemi Cuda #48 Gurney? Is it like the new mould that Scalextric have used for the footprint? Interested in buying but I think it might not be as wide as what they should be Quote I'm addicted to Slot Cars.
