slotmadmac Posted May 19, 2020 Report Share Posted May 19, 2020 Let's have some fun. I am inviting one and all to enter FuglyCool - a competition to build a 1/32 slot car that is both fugly and cool. This is not a proxy and these cars will not race each other. This is simply a 'build a wild looking car' comp that walks the line between looking f%#king ugly and being just plain cool. That could mean a 917 with a fat body kit. That could mean an escort limo... whatever floats your boat. The options are endless. Because these cars won't race there are very few rules. 1. FuglyCool cars must be based on 1/32 RTR body and plastic chassis, and 2. FuglyCool cars must be able to run a lap on your home track. I'll throw in Sideways Group 5 BMW for the winner and post it out. Assuming there are a few interested parties and this gets off the ground, FuglyCool will be judged by Munter - a man who understands the thin line between ugly and cool. Let's see how the builds progress but at this stage a photo of your FuglyCool entry must be posted here by the end of June. Who's in? 1 Quote Podiums are for short people.
