6Th Annual Nsr Challenge 2019

Recommended Posts

Who's going to the 6th annual NSR Challenge?

Race day is the weekend of May 11th on Tony's track in Nelson.

This is a race for the NSR classic sports cars, Porsche 917 and 908/3, Ford KIV, GT40 and P68.

The car rules are very simple to keep the racing close. (same car rules as last year)

I rekon you guys just might get away with that, that scrutineer fulla is going blind, between you and me, I don't think he'll notice.

If that don't work then a bottle of JD's honey will get you any where.

There you go Mark - you heard it here first, we're in like Flynn. Don't forget the can of pepper spray for keeping that former-jafa-now-scarfie in line.

What's JD's honey?...is it some kind of herbal remedy?

Thus many would have us believe - - -

Best we keep this information to ourselves, otherwise everyone will be in on it, and the scrutineer will be under the table.

So far 40 odd confirmed entries, we're in for another great event again.

There is still room left if you are ummmming and arrrrrring,

All you have to do is contact Tony and let him know you want to participate in NZ's biggest slot car event, not just racing but also catching up with others and trading cars etc too.

Hope to see you there - Dave.

I'm gunna kick your tail this year millings, I am surely gunna kick your tail so bad........

Maybe not on the track . . . . But certainly sometime after the race when you least expect it, and I am sick of thinking about you going round 2/10ths faster than me again

I am gunna kick your tail

Right now I am trying to get that 903 and 3/13ths to stop bunny hopping . . . sigh. Thought the pod had cracked, spent 10 minutes with a magnifying glass, SURE there must be a hairline somewhere.

Nup . . left rear shoe was falling off and I missed the lifting bit.... back to the endless "glue and true" cycle....... " oh TOYOTA!!!! "

I am going to give you 2 points of advice Mark, 1)change the original pod for a hard standard one but you will need to trim it to fit (allowed in the rules) 2) change your meds, the ones your on don't seem to be working, lol.

The countdown is on , not long to go now so if you are still thinking of entering get moving on the entry form .

Entries have hit the forties so it is going to be another great event and with some new racers to meet .
