That is going to incite envy, possibly even track side violence Pat, she's a beauty.

Thanks guys. Got a bit more done over Easter.

Bright work on and painted up this superb vac formed Scaley Mustang 'glass' and interior tray, kindly provided by Munter.

This has saved 9 grams over the original Revelle items. One of Munter's open faced drivers will play Alan. Found a ref pic where he wore a red lid.

Yeah I read they had to run with full carpets and the fumes were pretty bad when they heated up... crazy!!

Thanks to a few public holidays and the family being away I've managed to get this finished (for now)

A few things I could still add like rear window straps, and the rear panel face should be black not red, but it will do for now.

Thanks too to Munter for another set of fine inserts...

Hi Capri-Corn7.

Luv the project although I must admit I thought rear extension rather over-scale at first. End result looks fab though so well done.

Thanks guys :)

What putty do you use to fill after the JB weld?

Hi WoodSlot, I tried Tamiya Epoxy putty for the first time and was pretty impressed with it. It's a 2 part mix and when blended is kinda like blu-tack.

easy to apply and shape, yet sets rock hard. Took a lot of sanding.

Saw this beauty in the flesh tonight. The pix don't do it justice. Sweet runner too!

Cheers Mac - Yep pretty pleased with how it ran.

It's first outing on Thunder Road

And got a second step on the podium to Crockett's awesome Corvette Stingray.

Ironically this Vette was part of my build motivation as I've always been impressed with it's looks plus performance.

And there was also another Moffat car to play with too

Great work, Pat.

This is one which I have on my books - nothing yet purchased.

In hindsight from your amazing build, can you recommend a body that I should pick up...?

I'm about to start on a pair of LC and LJ Torana projects.... after a long spell away from slot cars (again)... I'm building up the parts box for those at present and will start a thread of my own during construction...

This Covid thingy has me confined to barracks (senior age bracket) and with us not being able to travel north again for winter - I'll be looking for something to keep me occupied indoors...

Great build - will follow your lead - hope you don't mind?

frats,

Rosco
