Didn't get my car finished by the due date, Stubbo did offer me more time to get it completed but, unfortunately, I will not be able to get the job done.
So with much regret, I will not have a car entered in this years Tasman. I wish all the entrants well and good luck.

Thats a real shame Stu,

Surely you could have dragged something off the shelf and got it ready???

Have to agree Stu a real pity if you do not compete. I am sure your cast-offs will still be faster than most of us.

Several of us have not built new cars but we have still entered. Just the fun of competing even if near the rear of the field is all the enticement I need.

Hi Terry and Chas, having a track would be handy for fettling and tweaking an off the shelf car, and general messing about. Dont have one or the space for one.
My rally track was chainsawed up and binned cause of the space factor. Although a short circuit track it allowed some indication of how a car was behaving
Both axles of last years car are out of alignment. Initially I thought it was just the front axle but when it went back in the jig the rear axle was also out.
Sweating the solders on the front end is relatively easy, but the rear end is a different kettle of fish needing a total rebuild, so unfortunately its a no go for now.
