Thanks chaps for the privilege of running a round....there are some great cars in the fleet. My only suggestion for builders is to ensure the tires are glued and the motors are also held in place as I can tell that there are some cars that are suffering because of this. Not matter how tight the tires fit and no matter how tight the motor clips in....glue it. And glue it with something that is going to give a heavy duty bond. Rave finished and thanks again. kalbfellp
Thanks for running the round John, no real surprise with the cars on the podium, they are really the class of the field. I have mentioned about glued tyres for some years in the Oz Rally, still year after year the same cars arrive without the tyres glued. Often by the last round the tyres will actually come right if the rim. 1 Quote Phil https://www.hobartminiaturecarclub.com/ Email

branco
Thanks for running this round John, That's the New Zealand Rally done and dusted, thanks to all the entrants for allowing your beasts to visit our fair country. charlesx
Hi John/Munter. Well done to you and your crew on another excellent NZ Round and of course to the podiumites. Special congrats to Aquakiwi - oh so close to the top step of the podium but 2nd is not to be sneezed at. Congrats to you too Branco - for the two longer stages you certainly had the legs on me. I appear to have done my usual thing by qualifying fairly well and letting down the team in last two rounds. My car certainly does not like the faster tracks. As Munter said earlier it drives heavy which is probably why it likes the slower twisty tracks. Looking forward to next round. Ben_M
Finally a half descent result for the Ford. Well done to those up the top. Thanks to the Kiwi hosts. It's been a long time coming but it's great to see you guys having some fun and getting the cars over to the land of the long white cloud. Cheers. munter
Thanks Alexis....my brain was well fried by adding those numbers. I was pleased to see the Lancias rise slightly as they appealed to me more than the Fords. I will post here when the cars are on their way to the Northern hemisphere. teamredracing
Hey guys . Thanks for the rounds in NZ. Well done. I know it felt like a bit of a rush but you both came through with flying colours . The Fords are still the gun car to beat , it seems, but not dropping the Audi just yet. To the Podiumites , congrats on taming the NZ tracks . Ok ,now for the long haul to Scotland and hopefully the Audi can move a little higher in the rankings. By the way John before you send the cars can you check my car out for any Playboy books that may have hidden in the car , as that navvy of mine has a real problem . kalbfellp
Just as well. The cars are not going to Indonesia, I had 12 tonne of used paper seized when they found a Post magazine in the container. Seems pics of boobs are not allowed!
