branco
Kia Ora and Welcome to the inaugural Rally of New Zealand. Part 1 of 2 will take place in Westport, South Island. Part 2 will be held on the Anaconda track in Napier, North Island, home of the famous (or infamous!!) Munter. This event will comprise of 4 stages. Stage 1; super special stage held on single lane test track (10 laps) Stage 2; Kawatiri Rally track (clockwise 15 laps) Stage 3; Kawatiri Rally track (Anti clockwise 15 laps) Stage 4; Kawatiri Rally track (clockwise 15 laps) Unfortunately a 2nd track was damaged during recent flooding of our area and is beyond immediate repair, I apologise for the inconvenience. The super special stage is a short event but will enable me to get to know your cars better. The main action will take place on the Kawatiri rally track. This layout comprises twists and turns, a tunnel and will certainly sort out the good from the bad! Your cars will gain some damage to the bodywork, if they don't it means I'm not going fast enough. I will post photos here but more will be put on the WRP facebook page. kalbfellp
These rounds will be very interesting as a few of the cars do not like any bouncing off the scenery! Most of my Rally cars do not have paint on the rear bumpers! I think Munter’s track will show some different results as the lighter cars will like the long track. Peter Gunn
Interesting little fact about my no 2 car it has travelled 11, 659 miles to have a go on NZ tracks, and i don't get any air miles
teamredracing
Just a question Branco , but has NZ got electricity as there was a bicycle which looked like it had battery packs parked fairly close to the track . Also saw the gumboots near the garage door, last nights sex party I see . Peter Gunn ,I think between Mels place where they started then to Me then Gaz , we feel priviliged to have added about 22 klms (13.22 mi) to your 11, 659 miles . charlesx
Hi Branco. I reckon you should pedal very slow when Peter's car is doing its run so the driver car watch the great West Coast scenery.
