They will be a nice addition to the crop of Group A cars available. Assuming these will be for sale and if so I would like two.

Now all we need is a standard XJS body so we can do the Walkinshaw version and a VL Commodore Group A.

The SD1 is still in development....ie the one you see here has a fault that requires a fix to the master and a remould will be necessary.

They will only be available from MRE in the UK under the Pre-Wing banner unless I can do a deal and get a bunch for Aus/NZ enthusiasts.

Please register your interest here.....looks like three so far.

Those resin bodies look amazing, I look forward to seeing one painted! My dad would have been excited to see them, he was one of those very odd Rover nuts. Bless him. The kind that took 10 years to restore a 1948 Rover, just to sell it at a loss. I am excited to see someone doing SD1's. I also heard rumors about the actual displacement of those Bathurst SD1's being somewhat liberal. But I'm sure that's just a rumor. Wonder if they still exist.

MRE, UK, you making these to order now?.
..I am like the out worker for Pre-Wing.

MRE sells the PW kits on behalf of the owner who I cast for.

I have just joined to support John in his endeavors and to show some pictures of the SD1s once I can work this out. As John said above there was a fault on the master which was corrected and then the master went astray which has caused a bit of a delay. However the decals for the two types of SD1 to be made available - Hepolite Glacier and the Mobil car from Aus -have arrived. I have built a prototype HG car and am currently working on the Mobil car.

The next saloons in the PreWing Tin Tops range are the late model Camaro and a Holden which raced in the BTCC, ETCC and in the ATCC. Might need some help with the latter.

You heard it folks, a Group A Commodore VL race shell as well as a revised Rover shell.

There was an increase in your pulse rate wasn't there?

And Welcome Mel Ault to Auslot.

The Rover is in semi production but the Commodore is at the master creation stage so your wishes for numbers should be available shortly.....ie some weeks.
