Calling All Arduino Experts

Good morning all.

 

I would like to know from all the people who are using the Arduino for their lap timing needs is it able to support say an 8 lane track ( timing and individual relays)? Would it be able to support 10 lanes with just a master relay?

With an uno, I run 6 lanes with start leds and individual relays, but no track call.

Without start leds, 9 lanes can be run with individual relays, and still no track call.

With master relay only, you can run 10 lanes with start lights and track call.

 

If you are building a large track, you can use an arduino mega and run 15 lanes with individual relays and track call and start lights.
