Yep. Repaints are encouraged. If the turds are being polished we may as go all the way.

In answer to a DM question, you can remove any superfluous material from the inside of the car body as long as it looks stock. If you use the body kit (and i assume everyone will to get a wider wheel track) that means you can remove the main body wheel guards and any other bits that can't be seen from the outside.

The thing is.. how low can you go?

I'd show you what's underneath it but I'm guessing no one's interested.

I've got a Scaley Mini 1275 Clubman I've been fluffing around with and it's very small. These don't look like they'd be a hell of a lot bigger, is that the case? If so this'll be a bit of a challenge.

Just started messing with a Clubbie myself and I was surprised when the Metro turned up how much bigger it was. here's a reference pic... fyi

Plenty of room for a decent long can there Pat. Go on. You know you want to.

Damn security has been breached, thank god for JB Weld, it will save me raiding church roofs for more lead.

My chassis is done and my body is ready for paint. Just need to choose a motor now. That's a challenge all in itself. Long cans with the extra weight down low are proving more of a realistic option than I first thought!

Hmmm, had a quick look at mine last night and was wondering how do foam tyres handle there?

No good. No grip on our gloss tracks. Ultragrips are the go. All the boys run them by choice.
