Truing the tyres sounds like a problem for future Michael...

It runs, better with the body on - because of the extra weight maybe.

It can also have a really impressive amount of body lean.

Time to start the real tuning.

I will have to take the timing computer out once of get my long list of chores done.

A pain how real life gets in the way of the important things.

Some windows and one interior made....it looks like a weight saving of about 8 grams.

I am going to mod the interior tray as the stock piece steps down at the rear and with all you "low riders" this could be an issue.

How many pieces of each are required?

I'll definately take a set...

(I'll also try to get some measurements for the RX7 interiors previously requested...)

That looks like ten which is doable....will ship to Australia for 8.00AUD

Remember 8 grams from the upper half of the body is well removed.

I will grab Gas41T set and send it over with his can-am proxy car

the cars are due back as the last race was run on the weekend

Holdens rule the rest just drool

John if you ended up with a spare set of windows - just in case mind....

Car runs nice, smooth, easy to drive, probably not fast enough but we will see.

I will true the rears tomorrow, I had trouble deciding what to use so a little testing was required

A little time on the tyre truer, and the wheels are nearly ready for the tyres...

Behold, the "Not Quite an air rim, yet not a solid one either" wheel...

Thanks guys, but in reality, it's nothing new. The RC boys have been doing it for years...

What it does is reduce the deformation of the rubber, particularly when using soft rubber.

Oh, and it's 'tuneable' too...

Soft open cell foam is more like a true air ride, whilst harder more closed cell is more like a true solid.

Also, I believe it's thunder slot that will be releasing something similar for use on an actual NSR air rim.
