slotmadmac
Hi Slotmadmac. Did you find you had any spare cars. Regards Charles Le Breton Sorry Chas. No spares at this point. Quote Podiums are for short people.
charlesx
Hi Gas41T and Slotmadmac. Thanks for advice Rossco but postage to NZ appears to tip balance. Postage alone appears to be anything from 17-20 pounds or about $30NZ plus cost of car. As I can buy a new car for $40NZ I will forget. I have lots of other projects on the go at present. Second thought though. What about allowing a Classic Mini (not the BMW variety). I might come last but certainly prepared to give it a go. I have a couple of these I could use. As long as I can make rear wheel drive. Regards Chas Le Breton

Pedro51
Bugger. Carefully glued the front axle tube onto the chassis. Looked really good. Go away to stop myself fiddling and checking if the glue is dry yet. Still looking good, EXCEPT bugger me its tilted sideways with one wheel off the set up block. More work for Mr Dremel today to grind it out and try to glue it straight in ALL directions this time.
Yngwie
Finally managed to source a couple at a decent postage price. UK postage is hideous! John
Pedro51
Good news on the new entrants. I think I may build another MetroTurd. . The way I see it, when you have my level of Turd genius it would be unfair to limit it to just one car. Getting worried about the high level of technical expertise going into the builds? You'll need to dig deep for this one Mac, especially if I source a "hired gun" driver, to compensate for my building skill outstripping my driver ability.
