Stubbo
OK that worked so here we go with the race results. Our drivers were Manimmal (Chris), Scozz (Stu) and Slo1quick (Stu). Another win to Tassie but maybe not who we thought. I am working on the notes and pictures etc so they will follow. Quote Alan Stubbings
kalbfellp
That is a surprise results, finally managed to beat the kids! Not sure about FPR getting in the way of the Tassie podium, but at least his car is part Tassie! Well done John. Thanks to the drivers for this event, well done Chris getting my car fastest lap. Thanks Stubbo for another great series, and well done to all the entrants for making this a good series, I hope you will all be back next year. I know a few are already starting to source parts for some new builds, so hopefully the next one will be even better. Terry
Well done to the podium getters, I don't suppose theres' any surprises there, nice to see the Elfin up there, nice car John, my favourite car is the Lotus32B nice build Phil and just reward I reckon, that Lola is a very quick car but your Lotus is a great car as well. Thanks for getting the round done quick and getting the results up here for us all to see, in my world I hang off any news from the outside world and my 6th place is good news this morning! My best result at Cheltenham. There seems to be some untapped potential in my #10 BT11, some work to be done upon its return! Another very enjoyable Tasman series, thanks Stubbo for running this, it must be one of the best run proxies going around, bring on 2018! charlesx
Hi Stubbo and all. Congrats to you Phil and the other podiumites. Also well done to the organisers, drivers, marshals etc. Some real reversals in the final race compared to qualifying. My Brabham appears to be finally finding some legs although still miles behind the leaders. Appears to have improved particularly in the last 3 rounds. Perhaps I forgot to run motor in. Stubbo
I still have to do the pictures etc but here is a comparison of the qualifying time compared to the fastest lap for each car on each lane during the race. Not as much variation as I thought except for a couple of obvious ones. Some cars were capable of a really quick lap but were not as consistent. Other cars could churn out good times lap after lap. I guess that is probably the difference at the end of the day. Quote Alan Stubbings

lenny broke
Hi Guys, Well done to Phil, The Kids & John on the podium finishers. Thanks to Alan, Chris & Stu x 2 for running the round. It was also good to see Terry & Stu's cars get a good result at Stubbo's. I would have liked to finish a bit higher but realistically that's were #4 has lurked for most of the series. Once again thanks to everyone involved with the finale Cheer's Alan Edited July 13, 2017 by lenny broke Quote home track club racer Spitfire Raceway forum link https://www.facebook.com/groups/1753319218331240/?ref=bookmarks
