Zlartibartfast
Team Zlartibarfast, and yes there will be a name change for the Slotfest races, will be racing all 4 classes if we get a Lexan GT3 together in time. If not maybe we can borrow/rent/steal( joking with the last one) one from someone else.

espsix
This is what I've found out about pin ions for each class. ScaleAuto - 10 SlotWorx V8 - 12 OAPRLMP - 11 Lexan GT - 11 or 12, but this one hasn't been confirmed. Edited July 15, 2017 by espsix

Brett, I don't want to jump the gun here, but I would say the 12T is the only one that should be used for the Lexan GT3's. Cheers, JanR Hi , are all classes handout motors ? This was asked before by Kim but we didn't get a definite answer . Thanks Peter D Peter, I was told by Greg that is the plan. NSR 25 King Evo for Scaleauto and OAPR LMP's and SRP25 for V8's and SRP25L for Lexan GT3's. Cheers, Jan Quote 'The older I get the faster I was.' espsix
Hi Jan, I was told Friday night that it maybe a choice that's left up to the entrant. I don't know who is making the decision, but it's not me. I also hear that it's handout motors for all classes.

axman
Sorry guys, Noel and I cant attend as planned so Team Flashtrax so wont be entering. I notified Greg a week ago but noticed today our entry is still on the list. I hope our demise will give other teams or racers wanting to race a chance. If any other teams are in doubt please post here ASAP so others have a chance Edited August 3, 2017 by axman
Springbok Racer
Oh no, that is a huge disappointment mate. Was looking forward to your usual banter and stories from back in the day... Springbok Racer
Hi guys, My spies are reporting that there was some local testing last night on the track. Apparently a very grippy track with some tipping results. Nevertheless, the following lap times were quite common: - Scaleauto GT (NSR25 Evo 10:44) some high 7.2's - Slotworx V8's (SRP25 12:44) some high 6.9's - Lexàn GT3's (SRP25L 11or12:44) some high 6.8's - OAPR LMP's (NSR25 Evo 11:44) some high 6.6's Sounds like it is all shaping up as planned - building the speed from start of the fest to finish. Thanks for the encrypted messaging boys. Jan Quote 'The older I get the faster I was.'

Pagey
One sleep to go, then a fun road trip with three top blokes. 8hrs in a car with me 😂 . Can't wait for the fun to start . Looking forward to a top race meet with most of the quick proven drivers from around the country competing. Disappointed that Kim and Noel won't be involved this time around. New track to learn and get up to speed on , always a challenge. Hopefully the schedule will have us some time to have a beer or three together. Thanks Greg for organising the event and Mr Slotcar for the new track and facilities to come and enjoy . See you all soon ,race you soon Jason . Lol No Ford shirts please Brett . Cheers Pagey
espsix
I think your in for some real disappointed Glen. FORD shirts have been washed, ironed and set out for quick change every day! Even got matching hats. It is a shame about Kin and Noel, but they obviously came to the realisation then never stood a chance.
