Got a message back from the seller saying that he no longer has stock...

:(

Seems like he has realized that they were too cheap...

I had a bit of a look and come up with this collection of MJK's that should fit.

Like caddo said earlier, Rims: 16.5 Major step(E) , 14.0 Minor step© , 5.0 Step width(F) , 10.0 Rim width(D). Tyre sizes are (A) for OD of tyre and (B) tyre width.

Part # (E) © (F) (D) (A) (B)

4205 16.8 14.6 5.3 11.0 20.8 11.0

4206 16.8 14.6 5.3 11.0 19.0 11.0

4213 15.6 13.6 5.2 8.0 19.7 10.3

4219 16.6 14.2 5.3 8.1 19.5 9.5

4232 16.0 13.4 5.2 8.3 19.7 12.0

4259 16.0 13.6 5.5 8.6 21.3 10.0

4265 16.8 14.6 5.3 11.0 20.0 11.0

4266 17.3 14.6 5.0 10.0 20.8 11.0

I put a set of 4205's on one of mine and they fit well. This might make it easier for ya's.

Cheers.

Ninco 1 Mustang needed a bit of work on the sills but fortunately blends in with the livery quite well

Just a thought (sorry for side tracking here) I don't understand this magnet layout. This layout gives maximum magnetic attraction on the straights, where you don't need or want all of it. I think a triangular layout would be better,

Just sayin'

Cheers,

WTF? It looked nice and neat when I was writing post, now it looks like a dyslexic person wrote it. Anyway, numbers down left side are part numbers!

Should be fine, I go a little heavier say 20 AWG remembering that it has to stay in the guide, you could strip a little longer and fold over though.

I just measured some Slot.it Cable, it is 21 AWG (0.723mm).

So in the right ball park, the 22 will handle the current, but you wouldn't want to go much lighter I would think.

24AWG takes the current load down to about 3.5amps max.

A while back I found this wiki page which has helped me in sizing wire.

Oops, apology required, I just checked some wire I am using for my current car and it is 22AWG.

I used this on my last two IPS cars and haven't had a problem.

Yep, 22 gauge is close enough to slot.it wire.

Interestingly, NSR wire is closer to 24 gauge...

Oh, and here's another 'top tip'...

50x eyelets - $6

They are a little longer than the slot.it ones, but they work well.

Have dremel, will create?

I regularly put the screws into my drill thread first about 4mm, and then use a cutting disk with the dremel to remove the thread on the rest.

Slot It also now use the grub screws for their guide wires in a lot of their new cars too DM. I've found the grub screw thread slowly tears away at the wire, eventually leading to failure. Maybe it is my set up error, but I generally find that eyelets are much less aggressive on the lead wire. A little contact glue to hold them in and away you go
