Kommandant33
Hey all, I have just started working on the scenery for my set up - and I am using the Knauf XPS from Bunnings - as it's the cheapest/easiest to get. At the moment I am using a hot wire cutter, but it's not great at certain things... So my question - has anyone used a hand-sander on XPF? If so - does it work well, or does it work for 30 seconds and then fill up with foam? any help would be much appreciated. Here is a little pic before getting into the remodelling - I really need to get the angle right for the rear straight against the wall - so you can brake hard into the hairpin. kalbfellp
I have not used it in tracks but have used it for shaping spoilers for 1:1 cars using a surform rasp and a flap wheel on Grinder, It makes a great mess of the garage!
