2017 Scale Model National Championships

The 2017 Scale Model National Championships will be raced in Melbourne this year.

 

Queens birthday long weekend From Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and finishing Sunday June 11th.

 

Venue is in the Brand new complex of MR SLOTCAR now the largest slot car centre in Australia.

Track open Thursday for practice.

 

Individual classes $20.

Enduros classes $30 per driver.

 

All individual classes will have qualifying heats and finals.

 

First class facilities for all your needs,so please NO FOOD OR DRINK FROM OUT SIDE TO BE BROUGHT IN THE COMPLEX BECAUSE IT CAN ALL BE PURCHASED INSIDE. This a rule by the owners so respect and support it please

 

The event will be held on a brand new 8 lane scale track.

 

Race Director for the event will be Mr Gary Johnson from Queensland.

 

The track will be raced on a brand new 8 lane scale track . Direction of racing will be the way it's designed to race . That will either be left to right or right to left.

Nsr Gt 32 scale

Sideways Group 5 32 scale

Slot it Group C 32 scale

Lmp/ Proto 32 scale

NSR/Slot it classic 32 scale .........................exciting change.watch out for rules

Plafit mini z. To the new 2017 plafit rules

Plafit Can Am 24 scale

Scale auto 24 scale

 

Following will be enduros for the event (NO HEATS ,JUST OVERALL WINNERS)

 

FLM/GT3. 24 scale. The Gt will be a new released Gt body(Choices of) lexan also............Watch for rules

 

Slotworx Aussie v8 24 scale

 

Amateur classes are for the people to race that have never placed in any national or state event. Enduro doesn't apply,only if you placed as an individual driver.

 

These 2 classes will be raced on the lower 6 lane track with Qualifying heats and finals.

 

Gt3 Scaletric

Aussie V8 Scalextric

 

Event will be prizes ,trophies and concourse for certain classes.

 

I hope everyone from all over can support this event. I've organised the number 1 race director and I've started to gain sponsors that have nothing to gain In supporting this event. The help will all go to support our great MCN with what ever is needed .
