Suspension Springs

Recommended Posts

This is a real long shot.

Would anyone in OZ/NZ have any Black Arrow red and/or blue springs or something equivalent.

I am ordering some from Black arrow but am running a bit short on time for delivery.

Happy to pay equivalent black arrow price +postage.

These are them

I have white (too hard) and green (too soft).

Have also tried the Ninco suspension springs but no good.

Cheers Grant

Thanks Imugford,

NSR & Slot.it are to long.

Didn't think about Plafit though, I'll try Werner.

For different coil 'density' and diameters, I've used various types of screws to wind my springs on.

Coarse thread (aka wood screws) are good for compression springs, whilst fine threads (aka machine screws) are great for extension springs.

Also, the spring from a pen can be used in most cases, either as donor spring steel, or just by cutting to length...
