2017 Tasman Cup Entrants

Recommended Posts

Entry fee paid for the #11. Now I've got to finish the damn thing! Cracked the body shell the other day while sanding out the filler putty and had to epoxy a styrene brace to the inside. Weather here has been no good for painting anyway. Next thing is to get some suspension bits put together while I wait for a sunny and mild day to paint. I figure I've got two weeks maximum before the car has to go into the mail. Testing? What's that?

Thanks Stubbo/Alan.

Always a relief.

Looking forward to proxy. Will be interesting to see how those narrow Dart rear tyres last.

For a time it seemed like I would never finish my entry, but "done" it is and on its way to you. Canada Post said "10 days", which would have it arriving just in time. Based on past experience, I'd say there's a good chance it will arrive late. As the noted philosopher Doris Day once sang: What will be, will be.

The car: Cooper T70-Climax as entered by Team McLaren and driven by Phil Hill in the 1965 Tasman series.

Looks good Stewart,

Just out of curiosity, what tyres do you use for your fronts?

Have to redo the guide mount (hopefully this weekend), set the motor in, true the rears and find what I did with the inserts.

Will get in mail express asap.

Thanks,

Tony aka Difinity
