First up is the green machine...... just need to add some MJK and a tinsy bit of weight and vola. Ignore the wheels on the front of the 037 - had some issues with the Ninco rear axle/wheels that meant I had to replace it with a slot.it one. Motor changed from the ridiculously under powered 14k to a retro fitted Piranha. And finally another Black Bowler - added the wheels that have been sitting in the wheel box for probably ten years. Shouldn't be a problem spotting my car amongst the field of black beauties. Should have spent more time on it but well that's how things turn out. More testing over the next few evenings (still trying to get my timing system working 100% in daylight, at night/evening it's fine). Mini has snapped its drive belt, and the toureg has split 4x tyres right off of the front rims. Gnaa. That said, the 959 has been prettied up, and dyl was happy with the mini before the belt broke. miveson Posted September 4, 2016 Author Report Share Posted September 4, 2016 Goodness gracious - finally finished the cars tonight with about an hour to spare (ridiculous really). As ever there are always last minute dramas, historics entry the wheels came off and my poor attempts at gluing Ninco didn't turn out well - swapped the axle for something else. I already know the historics entry doesn't have a hope and I'm not so sure about my choice for Raid Then noticed cracked hubs on the WRC entry (god I hate Ninco hubs with a passion) Anyways all sorted now and in to the post tomorrow Express to hopefully make the deadline.
