Sydney Interclub Challenge
Too bad the 2nd race is on the APC weekend, Jim and I were keen. Probably would have had a few others from Dapto as well. Sorry Cam, As Slot Shop will be moving to a new premises in September, this was the only week available that suited Eddie, and his impending move. We hope You, Jim and all the guys from Dapto can make it to Round 1 though. We love to see you there. Boys from St. Andrews raceway should be up for it with some teams will speak to the boys on Saturday night to get numbers cheers Phil (any chance of turning the power up 13.8 for those big tracks would be nice) Sounds Great Phil, It will be great to see the guys from St Andrews. You and Joel are looking quick at home. Might make a great combo. I'll check with the Power situation. Slot Shop runs at 12 volts and 1:32 world at 13.8 volts. I'll do some testing and get back to you within the week. Regards, Sydney Interclub Challenge Committee.

Caddo
Just a question re wheels - are wheel inserts required and do they need to be the original inserts supplied with the car? Cheers Caddo
Sydney Interclub Challenge
Just a question re wheels - are wheel inserts required and do they need to be the original inserts supplied with the car? Hi Caddo, Yes, you are required to run the original wheel and wheel insert as supplied out of the box. However, if you can't find your original rims and/or wheel inserts you still must run the original Group C rim (SIPA43al - all group C cars) plus wheel inserts that are designed for that car. E.g. Car - Nissan R89C, Rim - SIPA43AL, Wheel Insert - SIPA48 - Nissan R89C Wheel Insert. Please check out the link below for more information about Slot it Croup C Cars and their original parts http://www.slot.it/INGLESE/slotit_GB.php. To view, click on the model, then click on spare parts. the picture will provide you with all the original parts that come with that model. Caddo
heard from a fellow racer that rear tyre/wheel changing is to be allowed during the race, please confirm thanks
Sydney Interclub Challenge
heard from a fellow racer that rear tyre/wheel changing is to be allowed during the race, please confirm thanks Yes, so long as you use the replacement wheel as stated above (SIPA43AL) and running with correct wheel insert. However as it it a sprint endurance race, you'll most likely get home without the need to change tyres.
Caddo
OK thanks I'm unfamiliar with the control tyres & their durability at these tracks. If tyre changes are allowed & necessary, is between heats OK? or during race heats only? Cheers Caddo

Sydney Interclub Challenge
How many teams are you after? Cheers John Hi John, It would be great to see a second team from SWSRG. This will help your club/group battle it out for the Interclub Challenge Shield. The more teams from your club/group the better chance you have of becoming Interclub champions. We aren't capping team entries just so no one gets left out, but we would like to have 16 teams. I'm sure some of the guys will be keen in joining. It will be a great social get together. Yngwie
Just asking, if we get more than say 12 teams at One:32nd world (being 6 lanes), will the event be longer or we keep it the 2 hour mark? Cheers
Sydney Interclub Challenge
As stated on the poster, the event is scheduled so that each team will have 1.2 hours track time, per round. This will make the event slightly longer, however we want to ensure that all competitors get maximum value out of their experience.
