Wrp 2017 Entry List

Recommended Posts

Noticed your entry is a Ford RS Wobble and a good car when it,s finished i put down on here my build and i hope it may have helped others who have entered this car , ok the scaley is not my choice of car at any time and a lot i didn't like about it, but once you get it on the track and do the final tweaking it,s good fun , main points i found , weight is crucial in how much you need and a lot more up front , traction wise on the MJK's slight truing and a light sanding of the tyres helps a lot, ran mine on plastic, and wood suede track and fairly happy with it, but i,m not driving it , others are so expecting the series to be very interesting when they get their hands on them, come and join the fun, and that goes for all .

Is Craig still the only one running a Quattro?

Might be tempting to run one...

Aquakiwi been running both cars on the 4257's here on wood and plastic and did find out when new before truing car did tip a bit on the front quarters but it went after i razored them down a bit , think it was due to the overall dia of the tyre did take a bit of to get there about 3/4 of mm on them at the moment, worth getting a spare axle to set another set up on them though, ive not glued my bearings in yet leaving that to he last moment his way can change the axles around.

It is Shadow and it is a goer . Have put it around 3 tracks so far Mels being one of them and it stayed straight and true and upright. It is away in the cupboard awaiting Garys track to be cleaned off and if it makes it around his with out little problems that will be that. Put it away and forget about it .

Cheers Craig

Entry list has been updated

If you haven't chosen a car yet, you better get a move on

As stated before, tyres are in and ready for posting, all that's needed is confirmation of your entry (via payment)

2017 is coming pretty fast, don't leave it till the last minute.

Have I made a blunder....is this one eligible....Welsh Rally 1986?

I've got the Michelle Mouton one for Barbs, which I know is OK.

Cheers

Well branco, it just needs a total makeover to drive as well as it looks...!

I've just started today....lol.

Reminds me of an old Hollies song, "The long and winding road"....

Bugger, the Welsh Rally 1986 Audi isn't on the list of eligible cars.... ;) Should have looked at the list I suppose....

Ah well, will just have to get another Audi then...!

Right, in the meantime, I'll make a start on Barbs' Mouton version.

The Audi will be fine Dave, as long as it's Scalextric and sidewinder.

The eligible cars photos were just the ones I could find at the time.

Any of the listed cars from that time are fine, even the plane versions are ok, they will need a "rally" makeover to race, and don't forget to add a navigator if not already fitted.
