Contralube 770

Recommended Posts

Stumbled across this youtube video of it on a track in the UK.

Has anyone ever used this?

Could this be the next 'inox'? (Yeah Right)

I'm guess I'm just curious about the 'longevity' of it...

THE FASTEST SLOT CAR TRACK EVER!

Saw this on Facebook. Best laugh I've had in a long time.

You think they might be selling something Rusty?

Cheers,

I think that if you never move your track, it may help.

But all it's really doing is preventing corrosion between the joints.

I also suspect that it too 14 hours to re-assemble the track because he re-crimped all the connections, which would of made the major difference.

So, no, I don't think it's the be all and end all that it's shown to be.

But I guess that's just the pessimist in me.

Well that, and understanding that it's unlikely a 'gel' could cope with 1+ amp current indefinitely...

That said, it will work wonders at preserving connectors in the way it's designed to.
