jphanna
Today was a bit of a disappointment. only about a month ago I bought some nail polish remover (with acetone) to help remove oilites from my cars. 'it softens the glue eventually'. sounds good to me. better than taking a chance cracking the chassis. so I been using it over the last few weeks and it is great. today I did something different..... I had a scaly nascar that I had to do some work on. I put the whole rear chassis in a plastic cup and filled enough to just reach top of oilites. that was 10.30 am. i took off for rest of the day. came back 5.00pm and the chassis from oilites down. was black chewing gum in appearance. soft and gooey. it melted the whole rear end. that car is in the bin now. difinity
That sounds like a good place for a Scaley NASCAR...
