Ninco F1 Steering - Hard Fixing

Recommended Posts

Hi, looking for the best way to "hard fix" the steering on a Ninco F1.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thank you.

By hard fix I assume you mean lock ip the steering?

If so why?

We raced these cars for years with no problems, but we did change the camber angles.

Add about 1/2 mm under each front tyre, hold lock the car down on a setup board and carefully pour hot water on the suspension, once cooled you should have a little clearance between the front tyres and the track and the guide fully in the slot.

Thanks Phil.

I had heard that "locking " or "pinning" the front end to prevent it from moving was the "way to go".

Appreciate the feedback
