Hi guys , well after a bit of rain that was forecasted to be fining up Saturday morning, the weather bureau got it wrong yet again so started the proxy a little late .The one achilles heel of the rally track having another track that has to be rolled outside the garage and covered to play with :D .

2 stages were run on all 3 classes . All went well even though the late start meant a 10pm finish and as some have seen on facebook the Raids were the first to be run and the finishing times were posted but the names of those who were at the pointy end were covered. We didnt post for the WRC or the Historics .

So with that done , today I'm pulling the Rally track down and packing it away just in case of anymore precipitation , so will post up the Raid times hopefully this afternoon then the WRC and finally the Historics over the next day or so.

Overall the cars went well , some over powered for this circuit , so had to feather the trigger, one we found a tad low for my middle section which unfortunately has raised braid so just , had tyres on the track but mostly slid along the braid. I am going to re-do this section of track when I get the time as there is also a tight corner as Rossko can testify can hook the car up and kick it out of the slot if you don't get it right.

Anyway this isn't getting the track away so I'll try for this afternoon on the Raid post up.

Cheers Craig

Can I guess that the Escort was the one dragging it's arse.

Looking forward to the results.

Wow that was quick Craig, thank you and the guys very much.

No sympathy for cars lacking clearance, everyone has been reminded each year.

If it is the Escort it had Bruces usual preparation, very little!

One day he will surprise us all down here and turn up with a prepared car.

Yes these are rally tracks, they have bumps, jumps and lumps, just like the real rally stages.

If they're having problems on Craig's, wait till they get over here, Craig's track is flat compared to mine

Congrat to CharlesX , Dylan and Gas41t .

Great cars to drive and all so smooth . Rossko , yours I have to say had me stuffed in the first stage as it gives you the illusion that it's going to tip being a squat type of car.

Thats the Raids , Hopefully tomorrow the Wrc. I'll throw up pics as well after all the results are in.

Cheers Craig

Thanks Craig, the buggy is slowly but steadily making its way to the bottom of the table.

Quick question. How wide is the board that is up against the wall (the first one you built if I remember correctly) and how difficult is it to reach the cars if they come off on that side?

Some slot (and MTB) vids NOW SHOWING

The board up against the wall is your standard 1200 x 2400, the dirt section is about a metre in and can be easily reached by people that aren't height challenged, there isn't much of a problem with the back straight

The other bolt on sections are around the 800 - 900 width and as you know can be arranged in a variety of combinations

Whenever I see a new track like this, I always trace it with my mouse and pretend I'm driving it.

Is it just me?

A wise man once said... "Its not the mistakes you make , its how you respond to them that matters."

(It wasn't me)
