This will be the last year that I will run the NZ proxy. I’m certain that some one out there will continue with it and that person will have my support. I am more than happy to pass on the info that I have concerning the NZ proxy since 2013 as that will make it easier to keep it going. It has been great running the CanAm and creating the Group 5 proxies and I really have enjoyed all of it. I am ‘stepping down’ as I am just too busy these days to give it my full attention. It does take time but is very rewarding when you see full grids and every one having a good time with the series. I thank each and every one of you that has helped to make it such a great event. If you are keen to continue with the NZ proxy Series then please e-mail me for the contact details etc….drw21@vodafone.co.nz Maybe a fresh approach with some changes is needed – who knows. Now let us hope someone else will pick up and run with proxy racing.... David will be continuing with both CanAm and Group 5 in 2016. He will be sent all of the info I have to make the transition as smooth as possible. It has been great fun for me over the last few years and now Mr DC will take over. Some were average, but most were excellent and in general much more effort seems to have been put into this Proxy than any other I have had the pleasure to drive in.
