Round 3 of the NZ Group 5 proxy was run tonight on Chris' track. Sorry I left my camera behind, so I don't have any pics, but here are qualifying and race results.

Overall we feel the standard of cars is up on last year. I haven't compared overall race laps run between the 2 years.

I have sent the results spreadsheet up to Westy to do the series standings.

Cheers for the round guys. There is certainly some close racing in this Proxy. Can't wait to get a drive of those pesky new 935's.

Hi aqua. You had no grip and this caused the drivers to take a little bit more care just to get round the track. Dave Carters car had a completely different chassis for his car and was consistent for his set up . And was a sidewinder. I have mine set up in inline and will enter if there is a next year. Will be interesting.

I'm addicted to Slot Cars.

Thanks to the Napier team for running the round.

My 935 was obviously the exception to the norm. Had to re-do tires just before giving the car to Dave at start of the series, which totally messed up all the settings, not really a happy car.

Oh well, always next year.
