tonka500
Hello, Hoping for a bit of help. Where do people get their perspex/lexan from for putting barriers on the sides of a track? I saw a sheet in Bunnings that was roughly 600 by 400 and it was $50. I'm hoping there is a cheaper source. What height is OK for barriers around the edge of the track? Pictures I've looked at of other tracks look to be between 50 and 100mm I think. It is just a home routed wood track running RTR cars. Kids will be using the track and I'll also running F1 cars occasionally and I've read the open wheelers can launch themselves in a crash Thanks in advance! imugford
search for a supplier near you, a glazier might be able to point you in the right direction. Edited June 21, 2015 by imugford
kalbfellp
Knowing where you're located would help. Plastic suppliers, and sign makers are good choices. Perspex is cheaper than Lexan. A sheet 2400 x 1200 should be around $100 to $120 Edited June 21, 2015 by kalbfellp Quote Phil https://www.hobartminiaturecarclub.com/ Email

tonka500
Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll go perspex and give a glazier and sign maker a call. I'm located in Batemans Bay, South Coast NSW.
