teamredracing
Agree totally Lynne . Ian will be glad to see his new garage in the wee Scottish hamlet. Just wait till they find out there working for nothing . Hoping this isnt the start of things to come with my car. Looks as though my boys are doing a bit of the funny weed . Looks all smokey in the cab . I told them to keep of that Scottish thistle . Anyway , looks good parked up outside the garage. Thanks Leo and crew for the rounds so far and congrats to those on the podium . slotcarmann
So the cars are not far north of us at the moment...! Interesting that my and Barbs' cars didn't like the Aussie stages too much, but are more at home in the northern hemisphere, in Scotland. Two top 6 places for me....and ahead of the dreaded Tucker in one! Still, a long way to go yet. Great photos Leo, nice to see all the cars enjoying bonnie Scotland. Or in some cases, judging by the results, not enjoying the tracks. I look forward to the remaining stage(s) with baited breath. Cheers Dave Edited June 24, 2015 by slotcarmann
Scuderia_Turini
Hello again, Results for Stage 3 are below. This was on my Carrera layout and as always, the results on it are a bit different from previous runs. Crawford did the challenging bit (driving) and I did marshalling and admin. I also tried to get some action photographs but the Gods were not with us and I mostly got empty photos :- ( We have another stage to do and then the cars will be head off to Wales... Ember
Seems my Mitsi likes Carrera track for some reason. Perhaps it's simply the lack of suitable distractions for the co-pilot. Scuderia_Turini
Hello again, Crawford (driving and marshalling), Peter (marshalling and admin) and myself (marshalling and sarcasm) met at Crawford's workshop for the 4th and final stage. This consisted of the two rally loops joined by two twisty R1 sections and a two chicane type sections. As is normal in such situations, I will now build the anticipation of the results by providing the (posed) photographs from Stage 4... Apologies to Matt... Scuderia_Turini
Cheers Branco, This year we didn't count the "offs" but I regret that now - they make a big difference and explain the performance variations. We enjoy running the event and are always amazed at the differences in the cars despite the controlled specification nature of them.
