Howdy,

 

Ive had this awhile, now.

 

It not good enough to let sit.

 

I was just going to put an orange end-bell in it, but.........

 

So I am wondering with the 28K motor, what is your experience with the gearing of these for being competitive.

I agree with munter

The orange bell with the yellow gear works well and is all you will need

We race slot it GRP c with this set up with no added weight or magnets

And they fly along very nicely

Holdens rule the rest just drool

 

slot cars are my drug,

ATCC/Bathurst proxy host

NZ Grp5 proxy host.

Gotta say I agree with munter and Dave on the orange endbell and yellow 28 gear. However being as this is the earlier orange endbell with the round casing I'd go a 10 tooth pinion instead of the regular 9 tooth. I've got an old Jag XJR9 with the same motor and it goes better and drives smoother with a 10 tooth pinion matched to the yellow spur.
