Roger Miller
Howdy, Ive had this awhile, now. It not good enough to let sit. I was just going to put an orange end-bell in it, but......... So I am wondering with the 28K motor, what is your experience with the gearing of these for being competitive. munter
Use the orange endbell motor and the yellow gear.... Quote John Warren Slotcars are my preferred reality
David Carter
I agree with munter The orange bell with the yellow gear works well and is all you will need We race slot it GRP c with this set up with no added weight or magnets And they fly along very nicely Quote Holdens rule the rest just drool slot cars are my drug, ATCC/Bathurst proxy host NZ Grp5 proxy host. Wobble
Gotta say I agree with munter and Dave on the orange endbell and yellow 28 gear. However being as this is the earlier orange endbell with the round casing I'd go a 10 tooth pinion instead of the regular 9 tooth. I've got an old Jag XJR9 with the same motor and it goes better and drives smoother with a 10 tooth pinion matched to the yellow spur.
