kalbfellp
The cars have arrived and the Raids and Historic cars have left Park Ferme for the transport stage to Bat Florio. Two of the raids needed diff adjustment, Rusty's big Ford needed the diff shimmed as the mesh was starting to sound very rough, should be fine now. AMCC Lancer was needed the rear diff replaced, with some teeth missing from the crown. The Historic cars were in good shape only needing braids and tyres cleaning. The WRC cars will start the transport after they are serviced. Quote Phil https://www.hobartminiaturecarclub.com/ Email
shadow_rusty
Apparently the Ford 9" isn't tough enough for 'serious' racing... lol. Thanks for the tune up. Hoping to finish in the top 3 at this stage for a clean sweep of podiums in Raid... Hoping to finish above the bottom 3 in historics... Damn that Fly motor... boss302
Here we go..... Did 5 laps to check out the RAID cars this morning. No a great deal between them at this stage and ink they will end up a little quicker 14AMCC 14.189 20ShadowRusty 14.347 17TeamRed 14.534 19Miveson 14.609 18PKalbfell 14.676 21Gas41T 16.062 Team red is my favourite so far - handles undulations very well. boss302
Just qualified the WRC cars..... There are some seriously good cars in there. Slo1 Subaru is unreal - very smooth and has set a new track record. Big surprise to me was Ember's Celica. Great car which does everything right. CharlesX Subaru is brilliant. It will be right there along with AMCC Peugeot. Knealer Peugeot also a standout. Ember
I'm confused. The most common complaint about the VC Celica is 3 legged dog syndrome. Similarly with the JJJ RS200 and yet an occasional driver and track have loved them both. I can't help but wonder what I've done that's right or wrong. The Celica is running on the same chassis as it did a couple of years ago as the SlotCar MAG entry when it was just outside top 10. No complaints of marking territory then. Thanks for the good qualifying positions with both my cars. Will be interesting to see what happens with the longer run. Quote Computers. They'll never catch on. boss302
It is a great car Ember..... My track is very undulating - yours does everything just right. I think it may go slightly quicker..... Hope to run heat 1 later today.

GAS41T
Track looks very slippery, needs some rubber put down on it An the slot looks huge you can see the front of the cars wondering
kalbfellp
Bruces track does not have high grip, so the cars tend to slid about a lot, should be plenty of eurethane down as we only ran on it two weeks ago. Plus all the practice no doubt Bruce and Callan have done! Quote Phil https://www.hobartminiaturecarclub.com/ Email
