HI Guy's

I've unlocked the thread and Cam said he will delete anything that gets out of hand so over to you all. I hope those of you who have a difference of opinion can put it aside so this topic can continue.

Merry Christmas to you all, I hope Santa is kind to you.

Regards

Vince

Vince,

Thank you for unlocking this thread. Cam is definately more than capable to control this section and has a very good understanding of who the problem personalities are.

Allowing guys like him (who are level-headed and actively involved in what we do in 1/24th) to moderate specific discussion sections is a very sound management decision.

Merry Chrismas to all of you.

Jan

Does anyone know the best way of mounting the Nissan Rear Wing? The link on the Slotworx Webpage doen't exist.

Next Car, Green Car for Green Lane. Any guesses on what it might be?

Cheers,

Brooksy.

That Nissan livery looks great on the track.

I am redoing the website to include building the 1/32 V8's.

I'm on holidays atm, will get the links finished early in the new year.

Hi Jase,

I'm guessing Green will be a DJR car of some sort. Orange the Gis, Blue the Volvo, Yellow a Supecheap and Black a Jack Daniels...

But I'm stumped for Purple (was there ever a Purple Mercedes?)

Cheers,

Tony.

There's only two questions:

1. What direction do you go

2. What's the Lap Record?

Great work again Brooksy, looking fantastic. The more complex the livery the harder it is with multiple decals to line up in the correct position. I'm doing s Nissan at the moment for Jan as a fantasy livery . If he doesn't like it it will stay in my box . Lol . The wing has a cut guide sticker that Cam gives . I will do some photos of it as I do this one . Won't be long know Jan thanks for being so patient.

Cheers Pagey

Here is a guide to doing the rear wing on a Nissan . Cam supplies a cut guide in the body kit . Simply cut it out and stick it on the side of the wing . Cut the wing to suit the guide , fold the end at 90 degrees. It then gets pushed through a slit you make in the boot lid along the boot shut line and folds back up . A small dop of glue ( shoe goo works well ) . Paint and decal your wing befor you fit it of course. 83854488-F771-430A-A5FB-446C2AC0284F_zps7euzi2ih.jpg

Hey Pagey,

Thanks for the instructions.

What paint colour do you use for the Red Bull? It looks more purple than blue to me.

Looking fantastic Brooksy, I told you for ages they are not that hard and you get so much satisfaction from what you have achieved. Looks like you are well on the way to becoming another master in another part of our hobby . The wing on the Volvo from memory also has a cut guide . It is supplied with double sided tape and is stuck to the top of the boot lid . Have a look back at some completed cars earlier in the thread to see the finished look . Well done mate , keep it up .

Sorry, no roll cage, camera, radio, fire extinguisher or other bits and pieces

I put a short splitter on the front because it looked crap without it.

Looks fantastic Garry , real pro job showing us new blokes how it's done . Just a shame you put all that effort into a Ford ! Very clean looking and detailed finish . I know how hard it can be to get Red and White nice and sharp lines no bleeds . Well done again , takes more than a front splitter to stop a Ford from looking bad but you have pulled it off .

Cheers Pagey
