espsix
I've found this post in the thread on the 2012 APC. "No, the Aluminum slide mounts can only be used as designed and shown below : Also any bending is not allowed. Cheers Werner " Has the bending part changed, or is it still not allowed? "No, the Aluminum slide mounts can only be used as designed and shown below : Also any bending is not allowed. Has the bending part changed, or is it still not allowed? ... No, nothing has changed with this regulation. Bending the angled mounts in order to change their original design purpose is still not allowed. With the 2015 GTJ Regulations, these will be published by latest 24.July. Cheers Werner

wwwace
.........For the 1/24 Formula 1 Class there has an optional addition been made to the two nominated body sets. The new Plafit #2817SW Nylon Wing Kit (front + rear) can now also be used : Once assembled the kit is screw fixed onto the chassis both front and rear. The body has to be trimmed accordingly. Of course this set is heavier than using the wings supplied with the body. However it is much more robust during racing. Both front end winglets as well as the rear wing sides can be trimmed and shaped according to the specific 1:1 Formula 1 model. This is just another option in how to build a Formula 1 car in this class. Once painted this wing kit can look very realistic. The regulations have been updated and there are more photos here : https://picasaweb.google.com/100400793531523576905/2015Regulations124Formula1 Cheers Werner

Tony.A
Raced on the extended flat black which has now been renamed to the Fat Black. The esses is very tricky as the first part tightens up midway before you swing left into the hairpin which was the original last corner on the flat black.Lap times have increased by 1 to 2 secs depending on the car.Photos of the new section can be seen on the Mobile Raceways Facebook page
