Ember 71 Report post Posted November 10, 2014 These guys are all based on Immense Miniatures heads, I have only added colour. Jim Clark photo taken before adding goggle lenses and chin strap Dan Gurney photo taken before adding goggle lenses and chin strap (Yes... I know the helmet and visor should be black. This was done as per someone else's request) Graham Hill (Bell helmet) Graham Hill (earlier helmet style) Graham Hill (bare head) These ones are done from the "generic" '60s style driver head Mike Spence Innes Ireland And the "generic" '50s driver head in 3 poses Quote Computers. Ember 71 Report post Posted November 11, 2014 Immense Miniatures will be doing 1/24 heads soon. At the moment Hill and the generic early driver are the only ones available in 1/24. Quote Computers. FLY in the wall 5 Report post Posted November 11, 2014 (edited) Would it help if I said I have an immense miniature head. Munter and G have been and gone! No I don't have any pictures. Ember 71 Report post Posted March 29, 2015 Some new(ish) additions to the Immense Miniatures lineup. Juan Manuel Fangio These are two of the three heads on Marc's later Fangio sprue. The third option has his goggles sitting atop his helmet. El Maestro is also available in an earlier edition with aviator cap. Sir John Arthur Brabham AO OBE Both Fangio and Black Jack are also available in 1/24 scale. Probably also worth noting, the likenesses look much better to the naked eye. Unfortunately the harsh close-up of the macro lens plays up brush strokes more than the carefully sculpted features. And for those who are waiting for other drivers, Wee Jackie is currently being prototyped. It is hoped he will be cast and available for purchase soon. Quote Computers. They'll never catch on.
