1/24 Rear Engine Race Car

I want to build up a Rear Engine Race Car from the 60's up til 1974 and want to do something different.

 

What are some suggestions as to a cool model and where could I get one?

want to do something other than a Porsche 917 or a gt40 have been done to death

I'd troll through sites like Armchair , T-Birds and Melbourne model raceway

to see what is available in 1/32 . Pick a car and then look for a model kit.

 

Try a Porche 908/3 or Lola T70
