Ontheflipside
yes, same here, disappointed by the SCX rally proxy final result of my car, We had a lot of trouble with the braid wires and guides with the SCX cars at my round . Some adjustment during warm up laps made a world of difference. IMO In set up the guide should easily self center, move freely, install longer braids than the SCX standard (lower braid should be full length). Driving your car I thought it was on the money early but it only took a couple of unexpected offs in difficult marshaling areas that hurt the total time. And what would I know with my car running 21st in the series I thought SCX was still going but perhaps not. Do not recall hearing and certainly no word of car return. Slo
The Mini sure is in a legue of its own, and its a fun car to drive. The Mini is so small it needs a bit of card to trigger the offset sensor on Mopoke. My wife thought it was the cutest car on the track! curef99
i am busy late on a work call, so, to kill time i extracted the speed of my car last year compare to this year with only 2 mods done: 3gr in the front, rear wheel and tires. shelmore park 2013 stg1 266.172 / best 12.095 stg2 274.721 / 12.077 shelmore park 2014 stg1 243.985 / 9.915 stg2 248.611 / 10.462 clearely the track was faster this year for the WRC but it is still great to see the car getting better. mopoke 2013 total : 469.11 138.703 / 6.467 105.378 / 6.718 128.942 / 7.174 96.088 / 6.562 2014 total: 443.096 130.872 / 6.398 92.521 / 6.039 128.244 / 6.303 91.459 / 6.215 almost half a mn faster on the full race and .4s less on my best lap. This is great. Only MJK for proxy for me in the future!
kalbfellp
No good comparing times on Shelmore as some realigning of the track and some resurfacing has taken place since last year.
