Round 10 Athens

Recommended Posts

Well that's a bit of a surprise. Thank you Yannis, George and Nic. Think that's the best my little Lancer has done all season.

Congratulations Alexis, Nisco and Matt for the podium. That car of Matt's is a force to be reckoned with.

Wow, didn't expect this thread to already have results...

That was a nice suprise, as was my 8th place here...

Interestingly, my car has changed from "Consistent" to "poor handling deslots easily"...

Wonder what has changed...

The leaderboard is definately looking interesting... Lot's of yo-yo'ing going on...

Chuffed that I'm sitting in 7th now, and the highest ranked car without a podium finish...

And the sub competitions:

2014_WRP_R10_S.jpg

Am I missing something for the manufacturers championship, but shouldn't there be one of each number in every Round?

Rounds 2, 5 & 9 have 2x '7's' and no '9'

Round 3, 7, 8 & 10 has 2x '6's' and no '8'

Round 4 has 2x '5's' and no '7'

There were draws. Chas Le Breton

Somehow, it still doesn't make sense...

Firstly, how can the manufacturer championship have a draw?

Also, even if there is a draw, shouldn't it go something like this for round 9...

Subaru - 9 (first place points)

Mitsu & Citreon - Either Both 8's (2nd place points), or Both 7's (3rd place points), or Both 7.5's (avg 2nd and 3rd points)

Hyundai - 6 (fourth place points)

etc.

For some reason, Subaru only got 8 (2nd place), when in other rounds, it's the '8' that is missing...

ps. I'm not trying to cause trouble, especially as team Hyundai can't finish well, I'm just trying to understand how it works...

lol.

Thanks Miverson for doing the scoring and looking into it...

I did noticed this about round 4, but thought I'd see what happens with the later rounds, but as they went, it just got more confusing...

Wonder what has changed...

The track. Its 2 completely different tracks, ancient ruins is SCX,has abrupt elevations and 5-6 R1 turns.Mountain top is Scalextric classic painted, mostly flat and if the car goes through the upper loop without a deslot then it is mostly ok.

All fixed up now - see I am human after all. A simple case of applying a formula in Round 1 and not applying to the other rounds....

Thanks for pointing out...

Took me a while to find my car in the first two results, not used to looking below the podium!

I think my time on stage three is too generous. My car wasn't the quickest and as many offs (0) as those nearest but I beat everyone by 10 secs. I have a feeling my time on stage 3 should be 10 secs slower which effects the overall results for the round. Can you double check alexis as I could not rob ember of a podium.

I liked it better when the Mitsis were winning.

Congrat to the usual top runners and Mtucker 666 you must have a rocket ship , fantastic scoring all those pretty colours at the top there , I don't  think I can't catch you now chuckle 229 to 78 I'm a bit to far behind, maybe next year I might get a bit closer if I start now , and once again the Greek contingent done us proud well done to all.

We reached almost midnight to finish,Snurfens car, it was one of the last five, gave us hell to run,a piece of braid wire barely visible was shorting randomly and was crashing DS after a number of laps.At first we thought it was a screw fallen from a car the we thought it was bottoming out and motor shorted the rail, after many tries and chacking track,DS and car, someone noticed the offending piece of wire.

So at that point we had to restart the race and the first car to run was Matt's and here is what happened, lap by lap data

For some odd reason PClapcounter started counting from lap 2 and added 7 laps instead of 8.

So if you agree Matt i will add to your total time your average lap time:88.208/7=12,601

and re publish the rounds results
