Garbage

Recommended Posts

Hi these supposed 1:32 trucks have started to appear. I grabbed one cheap one a dollar reserve auction on our local auction site Trademe. But I've seen the brand in local 2 dollar shops "Alloy Model"

They do a skip bin version too. It arrived just now and quite pleased with the look & dimensions. Needs a bit of muck & weathering...

Might look a little too large with smaller scale Fly trucks but parked round the back of the pits it may look ok?

Or flat deck it as a transporter?

New layout Branco, good work! I'm still clearing the cave for mine... Here's a skip one, hopefully a few more 1$ reserves will come up.

Had to laugh the chrome badge on the grill reads. TRUCK.

Put a motor and guide in it and a small vacuum cleaner and use it for cleaning the track

That is a cool idea! Here's a rough pic for sizing comparison - doesn't look too huge.

Detail is better than I thought actually. Doors open and are thin and realistic. Wheelie bin bin attaches and can be flipped, and the entire back lifts up on a ram.

And the chassis & wheels aren't too bad either.... Better pull finger & build the track now...

That's so cool...

Now to find a reliable 'cheap' source in Australia...

From what I understand, FLY trucks are a tad smaller than 1/32nd anyway plus racing trucks are lower than their equivalent road versions so the bin truck is probably pretty close to spot on 1/32. It's a lot of truck for a buck.

Sorry I think I was misleading, auction was a dollar start but I was still lucky, only needing ten of them. :)
