My car is being run last ..... I've got to wait all day :) I was hoping that the start order was a qualifying order - clearly I was mistaken :)

Hey Embs - when I gave your car a run on my track it struggled on the off camber corners.
It was no trouble on the flatter sections.
I'm not at Minto today so I don't know what is happening there.
I think your car was one of the lightest in the field so maybe needs some more weight up front. (maybe)
Hopefully it will settle down and be quite quick on a flatter track.

My cars have aways struggled on Craigs track. ^_^

I know it's lighter than last year. It just felt right when I ran it here on the Targa and the hill. It's the first of the old SCX cars I've ever played with.

Ahhh well. If Keith's (Peter Gunn) car does better than mine I'll just claim it. :P It certainly was running better here with the weight shifted around a bit.

I assume they will post here when finished. I know it is simpler to dump stuff on FB but not everyone has (or wants) access.

Apparently they had some issues with a few cars yesterday slowing them up. Fire Brigade turned up for one :P

After a full day racing they dropped everything when finished to come to my place for our group racing night. Finished after midnight.
Craig is probably still in bed B) and dont blame him

It's Done and Dusted
Wow what a long day . 5.00am get up and rain, get things ready , do a proxy and then go slotting again til midnight . If thats not better than marriage , I dont know what is ^_^.

Ok the Proxy went off well , had Mario and Gazza around to marshall and take pics .A big thanks to them . Again one of my tighter corners took its toll on a few cars, even a couple of the front runners. Even found a new corner that gave the cars a rough time even my own car. Some went like rockets, some felt slow but were lapping in quite reasonable times. The newbies will find that there first proxy can be a learning curve except one :D. I will give an account of some of the cars asap . But I have a job and a half putting away tracks at the moment .
So here are the results and the pics will be put up as well. Congrats to the podium getters and may I say it was a pleasure driving your cars

Congratulations on surviving the day. Big effort. Good job. It's great to see this off and running again.

Congrats to Matt, Demontweeks and Mario for the podium spots.

Hoping my little lightweight might fair better on the Euro tracks. There's a lot of road ahead.

Hope everyone is looking forward to the trip.
