lenny broke 50 Report post Posted April 15, 2014 (edited) Hi Guys I had the opportunity to have a drive of Paul's car on Triggy's Lone Pine track last night. I had my T73 there from last year and we were doing similar lap times with Paul's car edging ahead the more laps it did. It circulated smoothly but I think the BWA motor wasn't as good as it could have been but this may improve with more use . This was the first time the car had seen a track I believe. I can say it's a very simple but neat pan chassis and I'm keen to see how it goes through the rest of the series. Top job Paul and all the best with it. And the body is a pretty too!! slo1quick 12 Report post Posted April 15, 2014 I set my slot it controller and let the car just tick around at a slow pace for an hour or so the first time out, I find it makes a big difference once evrithing is bedded in. Welcome to the party Paul and good luck. Look forward to seeing how it goes. Quote "Me Auntie's a Jack !!!"
kalbfellp 87 Report post Posted April 15, 2014 Stubbo well at least one person knows what it was! Lenny I agree the new BWA motor seem slower even slower than the old ones. Quote Phil Hobart Miniature Car Club Tassie Resins Email
kalbfellp 87 Report post Posted April 16, 2014 This car was seen arriving at the Shelmore Park storage area today. All the entrants are now here ready for some practice before qualifying next week and the BIG event the following week. Drivers and crews will have plenty of time to sort the cars for this track.
