International Proxy Series 2014 Tech,photos And Shakedown

Yesterday i scrutineered the cars,photo shot them and run a shakedown.

There was 1 car with issues,Baldieman's:

-Motor is not from the eligible motors list.I checked the rev reading and it is 4750 rpm on the wheels which ,with a 9/27 ratio gives 12825 on the motor,so i judged it is within the spirit of the rules and accepted it

-front wheels were 3mm smaller than the rear.

 

I have compiled a tech table,please fill in the voids

Shakedown results and comments by Hercules,owner of Chaitas racing garden where the 1st race will be held next Sunday.

3 cars needed intervention:

#23 aquakiwi,the screw holding the 2 parts of the chassis was touching down,was replaced with a countersunk screw

#92 Vagger,transmission shaft was spinning loose,loctite used to bond it

#111 Peter Gunn,guide was too thick ,was filed

The Cunningham is on an MRRC chassis and from memory running 9:27 Slot.it gears. Damn, I thought I'd solved it's rolling habits. Oh well. If it's too painful, just scrap it.

Computers. They'll never catch on.

Hi Alex

Nice work on the shakedown and presentation of the entries.

Just to update your records for my car: gear ratio 2.4:1 or 10 t pinion and 24 t crown wheel . Chassis Slot it HRS2 chassis.

Could you please clarify the what the weightrea and % mean. I assume its the weight bias to the rear in grams and as a percentage of the total weight.

Interesting that PK's Ferrari is one of the lighter ones this year, I reckon that's a first!!!
