superyob
Do Slot.it motors fit Carrera cars?
shadow_rusty
Yes the short can motors should. Depending which one you have, you may need to move the pinion to the other end of the motor though. I have a pioneer motor in one of my Carrera's, and they are the same setup as a slot.it. superyob
Are short can motors like the sidewinder motors?
shadow_rusty
Yes... Long cans can only be angle winder or inline in 1/32 slot cars. Carrera, Scalextric, Pioneer, Revell, Fly and Slot-It all use the 'FC-130' Short can motors (some brands use fk-180 long can motors too), but only the 'double' ended ones are interchangable between the brands. Carrera, Revell and some (not many) slot.it's drive from the metal can end, whilst Fly, Scalextric and Pioneer drive from the Plastic endbell end. Generally speaking, if they are a silver can with a coloured plastic endbell, they are the right motor...
