Hello World

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone, I'm relatively new to slot cars and am running a semi-permanent plastic SSD track. I'm hoping to start work on a routed track sometime soon, should hopefully be fun!

Hello Brother...

Welcome to the mad house...

Where you don't need to be crazy, but it does help...

Jealous of your semi-permanent SSD... PS. How's it holding up in this heat lately?

I need to get some 3mm mdf for the bridge section on mine as it keeps moving arround, and then the borders try to fall off..

Oh yeah, and my track's just way too small for serious fun... :(

The track is inside the house at the moment, so there is no problems with heat :)

Welcome MattB,

plenty of old heads around here to offer great advice when you get around to that routed track.

meanwhile drool through the track section for some ideas, that will get you motivated.

and have fun with the sport.

cheers

Paul

And a few not so old heads. Bugger the "sport" enjoy playing with your toys.

Hi Matt

So the bug has bitten, and now you're hooked.

When you get serious about the routed track, give me a call and I'll help where I can, OK.

Cheers

Andrew

Welcome to the forum Matt!

When can we schedule a club race on the planned track? :D No pressure!

All the best,

Phillip.
