gazza Posted December 13, 2013 Report Share Posted December 13, 2013 As with last year, ALL CARS MUST RUN THE RX-81 MOTOR Motor RX-81B The No 5 Peugeot 307 (silver & red) runs the latter motor (RX-81B not allowed), but the body can be changed to the earlier chassis if you have both or just change the motor, haven't seen what motor the new C4 is running so worse case is that you fit the body to a earlier c4 chassis All other 4wd SCX cars run a different motor, this is a RX-81 only class, to keep everything uniform and simple. But you can always swap the motor from something else that is RX81 powered. Thanks Ember, I'm a complete 'nub' when it comes to SCX cars - I own one which was a prize from a previous proxy years ago. The upside is I'm going shopping for some now but don't want to get anything that can't be considered for the proxy. I was considering swapping the motors as I have a RX81 but was worried about different shaft lengths with the 4WD.
