The cars have arrived, and are being readied for the final round.

As already mentioned it's a dead rubber as far as first place goes, but it's still a fight for second with three cars in contention, D.Dimas, FPV GTP and Matt Tucker.

Also a chance for the middle order to finish in a better position.

Depending on work commitments, and the occasional family annoyance, i'll see if we can get something started this weekend, if not it'll be the following one

Hopefully a continuation with my oz infatuation and a tumble down the order for my fellow podium contenders. No empathy in competition.

Don't think I have any hope of a last round win this year. I'll be happy with survival.

On the bright side, there's nowhere to go from here but home. Drive it like a rental car!

Thats the wrong thing to say to Gary as the what he did to the last rental car he drove when we were testing Jags. Poor old Commy didnt last to long. And sorry Ember here in Sydney we both both live and work in areas where you drive it like you really did steal it :P :D .

I'm hoping for enough improvement to jump up one place overall - its not much to ask for...

Here we go ......

Track all cleaned and ready to go .........

Posted Image

The RaceCoordinator timing is working perfectly .......

Posted Image

And the cars are ready .......

Posted Image

So lets go Rallying

Posted Image

Most of the cars this year have improved on last years times, with the average around 1 - 2 seconds a lap quicker, the grip level was up helped along by some slightly warm temperatures

I think the MJK control tyre has improved the overall performance considerably this year.

As in any sporting event, crowd support is crucial .......

Posted Image

As usual the notorious "hair pin" lived up to it's reputation, and very few cars had a problem with it, the ones that did suffered loosing anything from half to a full second each lap

Posted Image

A couple of the "over" trued tyre cars also had a few issues with some of the "humps" in the track, causing little or no traction in places

Posted Image

Some more of the action of stage 1 .....

Early setback .....

Results .... Stage 1 of 2 .... ten laps each stage

Congrats to Ember

But with only ten seconds between 1st and 21, it's still anyone's race

The dozen bottles (from a certain winery) arrived just in time before the event ..... but it played no part in the outcome of the event ..... honest :D

Here's last years times as a comparison, don't take any notice of the stage times just the fastest laps .......
