32coupe
This is because Peter M is just too greedy and 1 track is not enough. This one is 4m x 1.8m, and I managed to make in only 3 peices, less joins that way Edited February 12, 2015 by 32coupe Quote A man without a woman is like a neck without a pain. 32coupe
And this one is staying in Canberra now, and in my own club too, woohoo, I get to race on it still. Quote A man without a woman is like a neck without a pain.

SlotsNZ
Nice pics Andrew do you tape all the tracks or are some braided? 32coupe
Hi I do what ever the customer requires. If I build a track to put on ebay, it's more economical to do it in tape, you know how many cheapskates there are on ebay. Magnabraid usually doubles the price of a track. SlotsNZ
Ah I didn't mean magnabraid, just ordinary tinned copper braid Quote Recovering Lapsed Slot Addict * Custodian of many used screws (mostly loose ) * Total kidder * Companion of other delusional slot addicts
32coupe
Yes, one of the first tracks I did for a club mate has now been converted to braid. But it is still up to the customer.] Quote A man without a woman is like a neck without a pain.
32coupe
I had a call from a local guy that liked the track I did for the club, but he has young kids and some of the turns were a bit tight, so I worked a bit of magic and made the tight turns not so tight. I also put the control points on the harder side of the track, so that when the kids crash they don't have to run to the other side of the track. The fit and finish on this one has to be up there with one of my best. I think I'm getting good at this. Quote A man without a woman is like a neck without a pain. 32coupe
Update time, I'm still building tracks, here are a few of the latest ones. I did this one for a customer. He liked it so much he convinced his mate to buy this one I had on ebay. And this is the next one to go on ebay. Quote A man without a woman is like a neck without a pain. Wobble
I like the looks of those. Seems like a variation of a figure 8 track. I'd imagine the lane lengths are very similar.
Capri-corn7
Very nice & again a lot of track in a small space. What do you use for your finishing barriers - MDF ? Quote They are only toys .... until you pull the trigger.
32coupe
At first I used 3mm MDF but it was too soft, now I use plywood. It's not only stronger but it's easier to work with, and bends a lot more reliably. Quote A man without a woman is like a neck without a pain. dazza
what are the dimensions of the track made for rosco (gas41t) and how much would you charge to supply that track made as in the pics. Just timber routed for braid ? Edited July 15, 2015 by dazza Quote Midwestern Model Raceway.
32coupe
I just had to check, it is 4.5m x 2.0m. I made his out of 4 pieces, less joins that way. I could supply and route for $350.
