32coupe Posted April 6, 2014 Author Report Share Posted April 6, 2014 Ok, I had to take Friday off to get all the braid laid and have it ready for a few mates to come over early Saturday to help put it together before Quinten arrived around lunchtime. All went well and we were doing laps about an hour before he got here. We started off with 1/24th Scaleauto's, and slot.it's, but the most fun was with the flexi cars. Too say we were having too much fun to want to hand over the track, would be an under statement. But before too long the time to pull it apart and load it on the trailer arrived and I had to part ways with it. He has called today to let me know just how much they are enjoying it now, his son didn't go to bed until after midnight last night. Another happy customer. If you think this one looks a lot like the one I did for the guy in Orange, you would be dead right. This is the second track I built for him, only to have him continually changing his mind and making changes after I had finnished the build. So I told him that I no longer wished to do buisiness with him. I just had a phone call and a deal was struck, this one will be going to Adelaide, Leon will pick it up and deliver it when he comes to get his track. 32coupe Posted May 26, 2014 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2014 It all came together very nicely, I was doing laps all day Sunday. Quallity control you know. Did all the fine tuning, had to add a third power tap in the loop area, too much power drain over 40m of copper tape I guess. Leon arrived late afternoon on Monday and loaded both tracks onto a tray back ute, that was an effort I can tell you now.
