alexis in greece Posted August 27, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 27, 2013 The plan is to run 5 stages simultaneously.We will divide the cars in 5 groups,so first group races ss1, 2nd ss2 and so on.Then swap groups and 5th group races ss1n first group races ss2 and so on.We will have 5 drivers, 2 race controllers ,5 computers and 1 camera man. alexis in greece Posted August 29, 2013 Author Report Share Posted August 29, 2013 Shakedown was run last night,5 laps on Davelis' Cave stage.First of all damage and repair report -18 Xorxe DNS guide was jammed ,will try to fix it. -96 Syd guide post is broken ,will try to fix it. -10 miveson,the motor was offset and the front pinion was jamming,motor removed and soldered and glued back in place -11 Ben_M motor loose,glued back in place -17 Scuderia Turini,possibly a piece of garbage blocked vertical movement of the guide,fixed -21 Haystack ditto -22 Dimas,spoiler loose,rear left rim loose,fixed -39 His Lordship both rear rims loose,fixed All cars were oiled ,braids voodooed,tires cleaned with watered sponge. A general comment,most of the slower cars (clocked above 10.30) had a common problem,power came late and suddenly.I figure this is a drive train problem,not running freely.A couple of cars impressed me: -6 it felt slow but clocked one of the fastest times -39 it felt fast but didnt deliver Dont read too much into times as this ss is quite different from the rest and a fast car here could be slow elsewhere. It is important though because the cars will race more laps here than on the other stages.You should read carefulyy deslots as there a couple of hard to reach spots,if a car deslots there its doomed.
