Regular racing is held two weekly with additional informal days plus the running of Proxy events when required. We currently have four wooden home based tracks (2 x 3 lane and 2 x 4 lane) ranging between 18 and 25 metres in length. Below are some photos of our typical fields, Classes run include Scalextric Porsche 911 GT (standard class), Aussie V8 (modified class) and Nascar (standard class) then Slot-it Group C followed by GT. The last three classes to NZ National rules except we allow loose screws for Nascar. charlesx 52 Report post Posted October 2, 2013 Hi Gary. The Canam Proxy track picture was taken at Bowman Raceway prior to start of racing for 2013 round. This is an old 1/32 metal car track from Wellington that a local bought about 2 years ago. You are right. Copper tape is recessed like we do now with braid.
